East Fjords

In March 2017 I spent my first month at a shared residency at the former Fish Factory in Iceland’s East Fjords. It was so inspiring that I returned in July 2017, February 2018 and September 2021.

Stödvarfjördur, 2021

A woven piece using the dried kelp thrown up by the natural geyser.

Natural Geyser
The natural geyser throws up spray and uprooted kelp from the seabed. It’s about 40 minutes east of the Fish Factory.
