North Fjords

I spent October 2018 in Ólafsfjördur in Iceland’s North Fjords. The flight from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Isafjordur Airport took about 45 minutes. From there the bus took an hour. The flight back to the capital was cancelled because of bad weather, and the only alternative was for 8 or 9 of us passengers to arrange for a minibus - the journey took about seven hours!
